Roero Arneis Riserva DOCG is synonymous with patience and high quality standards. Following these values, the Gallino family produces the Roero Arneis Riserva “4 July” on the sandy soils of Roero. Date dedicated to the winemaker Gianni and his son Luigi, both born on July 4th. A wine produced in the cellars of Filippo Gallino in the traditional way, which arrives on the market immediately ready to be tasted.

HARVEST: September, exclusively by hand
CULTIVATION: Traditional Guyot with 8/9 fruits per plant
YIELD PER HECTARE: 60 QT
VINIFICATION: White, with separation of the must from the skin before fermentation, soft pressing by pneumatic press and fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature
MATURATION: In steel tanks on fine lees with weekly batonnage for 12 months and subsequent maturation in bottle
COLOUR: Intense straw yellow with greenish reflections
BOUQUET: Flint, citrus, linden, chamomile, acacia, tropical fruits and hay
TASTE: Mineral, dry, sapid, with sensations of aromatic herbs, exotic fruits, with a citrus and persistent aftertaste
